Hi Lois,

Thanks for writing and for your compliments! Making AA babies can be tricky, but worth the effort. Here is a tutorial that helped me a lot when I was learning ethnic babies: http://www.realistic-reborn-dolls.com/ethnic-reborn-babies-tutori
al.html As to the gray vinyl, that will actually help you with the AA coloring, since the AA colors tend to be orangey. They should get rid of the gray and give you a really nice baby. A couple tips: keep your layers really thin (and thin out the paints a lot, even more than that tutorial says to do). Be sure to smooth everything out and pounce it into the creases well, or you will have dark lines and patchy spots. I like rosier hands than the tutorial makes, so use some of your regular blush colors for that. And above all, have fun!

If you have any other questions, please feel free to let me know. Have a wonderful evening!

Hi Andrea, first let me start by saying that I love your all your work. I would like to know how you do your AA babies. I have a sleeper that is gray vinly tone, and would like to know how to get it to this complexion. It is from BB babies and it is by Gena by Michelle Fagan ( unpainted ).
